A Mini-Wardrobe for a Mini-Me
Here is my entry for PatternReview.com’s Mini-Wardrobe contest:
Official Mini-Wardrobe Contest Rules (from PatternReview.com)
This is a contest to create a 4-piece wardrobe in 4 weeks. Those pieces should fit one of the following three frameworks:
1) 2 bottoms and 2 tops - 1 may be a jacket
OR
2) 1 bottom and 3 tops - 1 (no more than one) may be a jacket
OR
3) 1 bottom, 1 dress or jumper (overdress), and 2 tops - 1 may be a jacket. If a jumper is made, it should go with both tops (i.e., function as a bottom). If the dress option is chosen, it need not be worn with the other garments in the wardrobe, however it should tie to the rest of the wardrobe in theme and possibly be compatible with the same handbag or shoes or accessories.

I can’t decide which is more adorable - your daughter or her new wardrobe! ;)
Seriously - that is a very cute wardrobe and you did a great job of making it cohesive by paying attention to those small details! :)

The clothes are great, but that’s really not a surprise. Your work always seems to be retro-classic, which I love. You already know I think your daughter’s a doll, and the fact that you can take a pretty picture doesn’t hurt. I guess there will be more little dresses to be made. Keep the clothes coming.
I’d love to know what you’d do if you had a boy—boys seem so hard to dress interestingly. People only know how to dress them like little men. Seriously though, I’d love to see what you’d do.
